Place the drain body through the sink opening using plumbers putty as a sealant. Once the drain body is in place, place grooved stay ring on top of ring with screws. Realign the "key ways" of the retaining rings with the ridges on the drain body, slide the rings over the ridges and turn the rings slightly. The drain is now held in place.
